This week our Head of PE, Mr Daniel Saleh used the $400 voucher supplied by Women of Whittlesea Embracing Diversity (WOWED) to personally purchase and hand deliver 44 basketballs and volleyballs of various sizes for our students.
Attached is a photo of Mr Saleh’s daughter Selena proudly showcasing our new sports equipment.
We are very fortunate to have worked with the team at WOWED through this year in the planning and delivery of a number of projects designed to encourage greater participation of girls and women in sports.
We thank WOWED for their thoughtful gift and look forward to working with them again in the future.
